It has been a long time since I've blogged, a really long time. Ben and I disconnected our home internet and just use our phones now. So since June of 2010 there has been lots of stuff going on. We had a great summer in 2010, but in August Ben lost his job. His work fired him saying he had broken one of the life saving rules and he really hadn't. He went to great lengths to prove he didn't break the rules. He fought against them with the union on his side. He finally got his job back January 2011. Well in November 2010 I was laid off from my job. So for a few months we were both out of work. It was quite scary but luckily we made it through. We had help of course and I am truely grateful for the programs we were able to use while we were both unemployed. So in June 2011 I was finally able to get a job. I work for Sandy OB/GYN. It is where I use to work back in 2005 to 2007 until I had the boys. Oh my boys! They are almost 4! I can't believe how fast time flies. They started pre-school this fall and they love it! Their teacher is Miss Tammy and she is awesome. The boys listen so well to her and they are learning so much. Summer 2011 was so much fun too. We went swimming, four wheeling and camping. At the end of the summer we bought another camping trailer. We sold our last one just a few months after we bought it and it is a good thing cause this new one fits us better. It has a front bedroom and that is exactly what we wanted the first time. It is better and safer for the boys. We only used it one time cause on our way home from that one camping trip our drive line busted on our truck. So by the time we got the truck fixed we had no more free weekends to go camping. Now it is winterized and put away for the winter. Oh well, we will go a lot next year. We also bought ben's dad's side by side four wheeler. It has a back seat so the boys can ride with us. So we have got a lot coming up with the holidays and the boys birthday. Can't wait for it to all be over! Don't get me wrong I love the holidays, but it is so busy and somewhat stressful. Summer has been so fun already. Birthday parties, carnival rides, trips to the park and yesterday we went swimming for the 1st time this year. We went to the pool at the Scera park, it was fun. We only stayed for a little while cause it was a bit breezy and the boys were getting cold. What a fun start to the summer!

This weekend was Summerfest. It was so rainy and cold all weekend we didn't know if we would make it over there. But it cleared up and warmed up for a couple hours and so we went and played at the carnival. The boys had so much fun driving cars and boats. They went on a few other rides but i forgot to take pictures.

I put the boys down for a nap the other day and when they woke up I waited a few minutes to go in and get them. Well this is what I found when I went into their room. They had lined up most of their stuffed animals along the side of their bed, They were so excited and happy they had them up there. It was so funny.

This huge truck was their gift from Grandma and Grandpa Le for their birthday and Christmas. Yesterday was the first day in awhile that was nice that combined with a day they weren't sick. So we pulled it out of the garage and they took turns driving around.

2 Year visit

Yesterday we took the boys to their 2 year visit with their doctor. Masen is 21 pounds 8 ounces and is 32 1/4 inches tall. Jaden weighs 21 pounds 2 ounces and is 32 inches. I need to put some fat on my boys! The doctor says their height matches their weight so he is not too concerned, but does want to add more calories to their diet. Happy 2nd Birthday Boys!

Tomorrow my little guys turn 2! I can't believe how fast the last 2 years have gone and how big they are getting. (Even though they are still little guys) They are such busy, funny, cute little toddlers. I really enjoy watching them everyday and seeing what new things they learn. They are so much fun to have around and I can't wait to see what new things will happen this next year. We love them so much.

They rediscovered their Bumbo chairs and yes they still fit perfectly in them. They decided to share the chair this time. They think it is so funny to sit in their chairs.

This is a little late, but better late than never. I am so thankful for my great husband. He is such a wonderful father and the boys love him so much. I am also very grateful for my dad. He is a great example to our family. He is a wonderful grandpa to the boys. I am thankful also for my father-in-law. I know Ben is a great guy and hard worker because of his dad. Happy Fathers Day to all!!

Ben, the boys and I went camping with our friends over last weekend. It was so much fun. We went out to a place about 45 minutes west of Eagle Mountain. We rode four-wheelers, went digging for geodes and just hung out. It was our first time camping with just us, usually we go with Ben's family.

This is my friend Kim's little girl, McKenna, and a cute little guy that was part of our camping party. He was the son of one of the other families that were there. They were so cute together. They rode those little four-wheelers around everywhere.

We went to Bear Lake over the weekend. It rained on us almost the whole time we were there. Between the rain showers we were able to go ride down on the beach. The boys love going on Grandpa Le's Tyrex, it usually puts them to sleep. It was good to get away for the weekend, too bad the weather sucked.

My brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Brian and Camilla, welcomed their first child yesterday. She was born at 11:21 a.m. She weighed 6 lbs 13 oz and was 19.5 inches long. She is such a cute baby and I love all her hair. I think that how much hair she has is usually the first comment most people made yesterday. I am so excited for them and happy to be an aunt again. She is my first neice.

The boys got these great snowsuits for their birthday from aunt Anh. But it seemed every time that it snowed they were sick, so they never got to wear them. Then today it was sunny enough that I thought I would put them in the suits and take them outside and see what they thought about the snow. They had such a hard time moving around in them that they pretty much sat in one spot and ate some snow. They kinda look like that kid in "The Christmas Story" and the words, "I can't get up" kept running through my head while we were outside. Well maybe next year they can actually play in the snow.

Yesterday the boys got to play with cousin Beckham. They had so much fun running around with him and chasing him. We are so happy they are moving back this weekend so we can spend more time with him and Jen and Curtis.

Last night the boys would not eat. They kept pointing at their bowls, so we would offer a bite of rice and they would refuse. So finally Ben said, "Just give them the bowl." Knowing that this would be a huge mess, I reluctantly gave Masen his bowl. Ben gave Jaden his bowl. They went to town. It went everywhere, as you can see.

Lately Jaden has been grabbing everyone's nose. He grabs and pinches pretty hard. The other day, the boys were playing and then Jaden grabbed Masen's nose. I had to take some pictures cause Masen was just letting him do it and not fighting back. I got his hand off and told him "no" and then he decided to give Masen a kiss to say sorry.

I went to Costco the other day and was looking through the kid clothes when these onsies caught my eye. I thought they were cute. I searched through almost the whole pile before I found "Thing 1" and "Thing 2" both in size 12 months. My kids are so small they still can wear 9 month clothes. The pants they have on are 12 month and they are kinda big on them. I can't believe I have 14 month old kids, time flies by so fast.

My little boy ended up getting sick last week and had to spend 3 night in the hospital. He had an earache and bronchiolitis. He needed oxygen and breathing treatments during the 4 days we were there, but luckily no IV. The first few days he was just so tired, he just layed there in his big hospital bed. Jaden got sick too but it didn't hit him as hard as it hit Masen.

When at my mom's house we put up the big Love Sac to keep the boys in the living room to play with the toys. It has been a good security gate, until now. Jaden, being the little sneaky boy he is, figured out how to escape. Maybe he just wanted to play on the computer. So now we will have to make sure to puff up the Love Sac so it's bigger to make sure Jaden and Masen can't escape.

New Year's Eve Sleepover

My Mom and Dad were nice enough to watch the boys this New Year's Eve. They took them over night, which was great. They had Landyn too, the boys love playing with Landyn. We didn't do much on New Year's Eve just went to dinner and hung around, then Ben started to feel sick so we went home around 11:00. I know how boring. It was nice to finally get a good night sleep though. Thanks Mom and Dad, you are the best!

My sis-in-law, Jen, and husband, Curtis, and son, Beckham, moved to Idaho today. They will be gone for 4 months while Curtis goes to lineman school. So yesterday we went up to say good-bye to her and her family. We went out to lunch and then walked around the Layton Hills mall. The boys and Beckham rode on these toys while we were there.

On Christmas day we went to Ben's parents and opened presents then went to a family party at his uncle's house. Ben's parents bought them little electric four-wheelers. Once they figure out how to push the button they will be riding those things all over the place. Ben's parents have a dancing/singing Santa and at first the boys were scared of it, but after awhile they just say there and stared at it.

1st year check-up

The boys had their 1st year check-up on Monday. Masen is 17 pounds 5 ounces and 27 inches in length. Jaden is 17 pounds 7 ounces and is also 27 inches in length. Man I have such small little munchkins. But the doctor says they are proportionate and so they are fine. Maybe someday they will hit a growth spurt.

It's Asian tradition that when a child turns 1 they choose from a tray of different items to determine their career later in life. When Ben was 1 he chose a tool and now he is great at fixing things and very mechanically inclined. Anyway, Masen chose a pen and Jaden chose a spoon. Jaden will be a cook or do something with food and Masen will be some kind of office worker. Maybe Masen can manage the restaurant that Jaden cooks at!

On the 20th we celebrated with Ben's side of the family at grandma and grandpa Le's house. We ate lots of good food. The boys took another try at cake but they both were so tired they didn't get into it that much. They did enjoy opening their presents.

We had 2 parties for the boys, one at each grandparents house. The first one was at my mom and dad's on the 19th. We just had family over, ate pizza and had cake and ice cream. Jaden loved his cake and got it all over himself. Masen did not like it too much. He got some in his hands and squished it and started to whine. He must not like the feeling of squishy stuff in his hands.

A tough start

My little guys were born 12-19-07, only 1 week early. I delivered them by c-section at Orem Community Hospital. My c-section was done by Dr Judd and Dr Gordon. Right away the nurses saw that Jaden was having a hard time breathing. After a couple x-rays and a lot of blood work they decided to transport him by life flight ambulance to the NICU at UVRMC. While they were working on Jaden, they brought in Masen to me. I got to hold him for a little while. Then they brought Jaden in to my room. He was in this big box with all these tubes sticking out everywhere. Then after a minute they took him away. Ben and his parents followed him to the hospital. While Jaden was in my room they were checking Masen's blood sugar, which ended up low. So they checked his oxygen levels and those were low. So they did x-rays and blood work and decided he needed to go to the NICU as well. Ben came back and then followed Masen down to the hospital. The same life flight crew that took Jaden, took Masen. After what seemed like the longest night I got to transfer to UVRMC and be closer to my boys. Once they were off their ventilators and most the tubes were out, they got to be in the same bed. They were on the ventilators for a couple days. They spent almost 3 weeks in the NICU. That was the longest 3 weeks of my life. I spent every day, all day with them. I am so grateful for all my family that supported us throughout the whole time and still do. I am also grateful for all the wonderful nurses that gave our little guys such great care. I am thankful that our boys made it through that and that they are happy, healthy, almost 1 year old boys.

We took some pictures of the boys so we could make invitations for their birthday. I can't believe they are almost one. It is so crazy. It seems like not too long ago that we were visiting them in the NICU at UVRMC. Time has gone by so so fast. I love my boys they are such a great part of our family. I can't imagine what my life would be without them. I am looking forward to all adventures that I am sure to come.

Over the weekend we took the boys to see Santa down at the Provo Mall. We rode the train and then went to see Santa. The boys liked the train ride. They, however, did not like Santa. Poor Beckham looks like he is bored out of his mind. I think he was excited to see Santa but probably didn't like the boys screaming.

Jaden is my little climber. He like to crawl up into his bouncer and then stand up and rock in it. It scared me to death the first time he did it. He gets up there fast and I was out of the room when he did it the first time. Now I make sure if I am not in the room, to move that chair somewhere he can not get it.

Viva Las Vegas!!

The day after Thanksgiving Ben, me, Brian, Camilla, Dustin and Jen headed down to Vegas. We stayed Friday and Saturday night at the Sahara. We just walked the strip and did the tourist type of stuff. Friday night we rode to the top of the Eiffel Tower at Paris hotel. I left my camera at the hotel so i don't have any pictures from that night. The next day we walked more of the strip, ate at Palms for lunch, went to the World's Largest Souvenir Store, went to the M&M and Coke store, ate at Margaritaville for dinner and caught the light show on the old strip, Freemont street. It was a nice break from the kids, but we did miss them.

Saturday night we went and ate at Margaritaville for Ben and Camilla's b-day. They both got balloon hats to wear. Every one in the place thought Ben's fish hat was so cool. Dustin and Jen were with us and I didn't get any pictures of them.

On Saturday we went to The World's Largest Souvenir Store. We found this hat that had blond curly hair on it, so of course we had Ben and Dustin put it on. They look so funny. Then we found these big cowboy hats and all the boys put one on for a picture. Brian also found a fanny pack and tried it on. He looks like a tourist. The girls thought it would be fun to take pictures with some feather boas.

On our way home from Vegas we stopped in Beaver at the Chevron and there is a big rocking chair outside. We had to push the boys over to the chair and make them sit in it, they didn't really want to.

My sister, Michayla, watches the boys on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Yesterday she went to her neighbors house who had one of those inflatable trampoline things. Jaden loved it. As you can see from the picture, Masen was not too excited about it. Any time someone would come near him and bounce, he would cry. He must have been a little tired.

Awhile ago Masen started copying my sister, Michayla, when she would shut her eyes and then open them. When she opens them she says, "peek-a-boo." Now Masen does it all the time. He thinks he is so funny.

Fun at the park

We went to the park today. The boys love to swing. They just look so relaxed when they are in the swing. I can't wait until next summer when they are old enough to really enjoy the park. We usually go when I watch my nephew Landyn. He makes friends with all the kids that are there at the park. It will be fun next summer to have Landyn show the boys the ropes at the park. Masen is in the red and Jaden is in the tan. Those little outfits are from auntie Jen. They boys feel so cuddly when they are in them.

Last night my friends and I went out to dinner to Brick Oven. Next to me is Kim, then Nicole and then Christy. Nicole and Kim are married, Christy is gettting married in April to a guy named Ben. I am so excited for her. It is always fun to go out with the girls and get a break from kids and hubbies.

Saturday we went to the mall and found these hats for the boys. They are Boston Red Sox hats. We also saw the eskimo type hat at the Gap and had to put it on one of them for a picture.

After Noah's party we went down to Thanksgiving Point to the Barnyard Boo. We went with Ben's parents, his sister, Jen, and nephew, Beckham. It was such a nice day and I think the boys liked being outside looking at all the fun things they had set up.

On the 18 of October we went to a birthday party for Noah. He turned 3. We went up to Salt Lake and ate at Golden Corral. The whole family was up there. We tried to give the boys some mashed potatoes, but they didn't like it. They did like Jello, though.

Ben's cousin Cindy works for University Mall and got free movie tickets to the new theater in Orem. She gave us tickets. So we decided to go see The House Bunny. We went with Ben's brother, Brian, Brian's wife, Camilla, Ben's cousin, Dustin, and Dustin's wife, Jen. The movie was so funny.

We went to my mom's on Halloween for chili and sugar cookies. We have been doing this every year since I was little. My sis, Mallory, dressed her dog up as a marine. My little nephew Landyn was the Incredible Hulk. My grandparents were there to join in on the fun. I didn't get many pictures while we were there, but here are some.
